“Get good coffee at Hope Town Coffee House”

June 24th 2009 (mid morning) four twisters appeared off-shore around Elbow Cay. This one, pictured (from the Coffee House), lifted the bench off of the main public dock and dumped it into the harbour.

A 40′ catamaran was spun around on its mooring and a Boston Whaler skiff was lifted approximately 15 feet into the air and tossed like paper 25 yards away near the far shore.

We now have a new respect for water spouts!
